Luke Humphries faces a potential showdown against home favourite Krzysztof Ratajski at the inaugural SUPERBET Poland Darts Open this weekend, as the 2026 PDC European Tour kicks off in style.
The £230,000 event will be held at the EXPO in Kraków from February 20-22, as the European Tour visits Poland for the first time, following the success of World Series events in the country in recent years.
The landmark tournament will be headlined by world number one Luke Littler and 2023/24 World Champion Humphries, as a star-studded 48-player field compete for the £35,000 top prize on Polish soil.
Friday’s opening round will feature 16 matches across two sessions, as Poland’s number one Ratajski takes centre stage.
The World Championship quarter-finalist will meet former Grand Slam of Darts semi-finalist Mickey Mansell in round one, with Humphries awaiting the winner on Saturday evening.
Scottish number two Cameron Menzies plays 2024 European Champion Ritchie Edhouse in another intriguing clash, while 2025 Hungarian Darts Trophy winner Niko Springer goes up against a resurgent Cristo Reyes – who is making his first European Tour appearance since April 2019.
Australian number one Damon Heta has been pitted against former TV quarter-finalist Connor Scutt, as 2024 World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker locks horns with Germany’s Marvin Kraft.
Former UK Open semi-finalist William O’Connor will take on Swedish star Andreas Harrysson, while Dave Chisnall – a winner of eight European Tour titles – kicks off his challenge against Darryl Pilgrim.
The top 16 players on the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder then enter the fray in round two on Saturday, as reigning two-time World Champion Littler makes his return to European Tour action.
The 19-year-old will face De Decker or Kraft for a place in Finals Day, with Humphries poised to tackle either Ratajski or Mansell in a blockbuster tussle.
Three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen, who is hoping to overcome a medical issue to compete in Poland, begins his bid for a record-extending 39th European Tour crown against Luke Woodhouse or Carl Sneyd, who go head-to-head on Friday afternoon.
Third seed Gian van Veen has been handed a tie against 2023 UK Open champion Andrew Gilding or Swedish number one Jeffrey de Graaf, with Dirk van Duijvenbode and Adam Gawlas battling it out for the right to play world number five Jonny Clayton.
Dutch star Wessel Nijman will play Thomas Lovely for the right to meet two-time World Champion Gary Anderson on Saturday, while ninth seed Josh Rock kicks off his campaign against O’Connor or Harrysson.
Danny Noppert and Jermaine Wattimena could collide in an all-Dutch affair, with Wattimena up against a Host Nation representative on Friday.
Ten-time TV title winner James Wade awaits either Menzies or Edhouse, before Gerwyn Price sets his sights on former Masters champion Joe Cullen or a Host Nation Qualifier.
Nathan Aspinall, who claimed top spot on the European Tour rankings in 2025 – will also be amongst the seeded representatives, with Chisnall or Pilgrim poised to play the Stockport star in round two.
Following the conclusion of round two, the last 16 will take place on Sunday afternoon, before the tournament concludes with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in a bumper evening session.
Live coverage of the SUPERBET Poland Darts Open will be broadcast live on CANAL+ SPORT 5 and via the CANAL+ streaming service, as darting coverage in Poland enters an exciting new era.
The tournament will also be streamed on DAZN for viewers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and through the DAZN Darts channel on Pluto TV.
