1. All ADA events will be played under the rules of the Darts Regulation Authority, which can be viewed at www.thedra.co.uk
2. ADA games in events will be played on Winmau Blade 6 dartboards and scored using the DartConnect platform.
3. Players must be aged 16 or above on the day of an ADA event to be eligible to compete. Players must also not be subject to any suspension by the DRA or one of its Affiliated Organisations. ADA Tour events are open to all players from Australia, or eligible via the Nationality rules below:
Nationality is determined as follows:
A. The player was born in that nation; OR
B. The player holds a valid passport for that nation; OR
C. The player has continuous residency (defined as their primary or permanent home in the nation) for five consecutive years immediately preceding the date of the relevant event.
4. Entries to all ADA events must be made online via DartConnect. Entries close 1 hour prior to the advertised start time of an event.
5. Players must register for each ADA event no later than 1 hour prior to the advertised start time, when the draw will be made.
6. The playing format for ADA events will be straight knockout . All legs must finish on a double. Events will be played in a bracket format based on the draw.
7. ADA events will operate on a loser-marks basis, where a losing player would mark the next game drawn to that board. The first game on a board would be marked by the last player drawn to that board on the draw bracket. Any player refusing to mark or not in place when a game is ready to commence could face disciplinary action or have entries for future ADA events refused.
8. Players are only permitted to drink water during play.
9. Players are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses when attending events. Players must be eligible to travel internationally if required to compete in ADA events.
10. Prize Money in ADA events will be awarded as follows:
Winner $1,600
Runner-Up $800
Semi-Final Losers $400
Quarter-Final Losers $200
Last 16 Losers $100
Last 32 Losers $50
Total $ (per event) $5,750
Prize money won in ADA events will count towards the ADA Rankings.
Please note: If less than 64 players compete in any of the events, the following rule will apply:
A player who benefits from a bye but then loses the match in the round into which they were placed as a result of the bye shall only be credited on the relevant Rankings with prize money based on the previous round. For example, if a player receives a bye from the first round (Last 64) into the Last 32 of an Event, but then loses in the Last 32, they shall not be credited with any prize money. However, if they win their Last 32 match but lose in the Last 16, they shall be credited with Last 16 loser prize money.
11. All players and guests are asked to turn mobile phones off or into silent mode when attending ADA events. Players are responsible for the behaviour of their guests and all persons attending ADA events are also required to follow any venue guidelines or regulations.
12. The Dress Code for all ADA events is as per DRA rules, and includes the following: jeans-style trousers or skirts, or non-formal footwear are not permitted. If a player has a query, please contact the ADA Tournament Director in advance.
13. The ADA Tournament Director's decision will be final on all matters relating to ADA events.
