Cor Dekker cemented top spot on the PDC Nordic & Baltic ProTour Rankings after claiming his second title of 2026 in Latvia at the weekend.
Norwegian number one Dekker prevailed in the year’s opening ProTour event last month, and he doubled his title tally with victory in Event Four on Sunday.
The 38-year-old demolished Finland’s former World Cup of Darts semi-finalist Jani Haavisto 6-1 to take the title, having conceded just seven legs throughout the tournament.
Dekker averaged 99.69 in his opening round victory over Jonas Masalin, registering winning legs of 13, 14, 14, 17, 15 and 14 darts in the process.
Following a 6-1 thumping of Lithuania’s Mindaugas Barauskas in round two, Dekker then ran out a 6-3 winner against Jonas Graversen in the quarter-finals, before whitewashing Petri Rasmus in the last four.
Dekker also featured in Saturday’s Event Three showpiece, where he succumbed 6-1 to Denmark’s Jonas Sorensen, despite averaging seven points more than his opponent.
Sorensen kicked off his campaign with comeback wins over Anton Ostlund and Barauskas, overturning 3-1 and 3-0 deficits before overcoming Finland’s Miika Mustaniemi in a scrappy affair.
The 33-year-old then landed a 14-darter to edge past Sweden’s Oskar Lukasiak in the quarter-finals, which he backed up with a 6-1 demolition of his compatriot Graversen – aided by a 99 average.
The weekend’s play also saw qualifiers for European Tour Events 4-6 take place in Riga, as Swedish star Ostlund completed a qualification double.
Ostlund will feature in the upcoming German Darts Grand Prix after running out a 6-4 winner against Latvia’s Valters Melderis to book his place in Munich.
Nevertheless, Melderis made amends to seal his spot at the European Darts Grand Prix, recovering from 4-2 down to deny Ostlund qualification to next month’s showpiece in Sindelfingen.
Ostlund will compete in May’s Austrian Darts Open, however, completing a 6-3 success over Graversen in the ET6 Qualifier to cap off a successful campaign on Latvian soil.
The 2026 Nordic & Baltic ProTour season will continue next month, as ProTour Events 5-6 and Qualifiers for European Tour Events 7-9 take place in Finland from April 24-26.
