James Beeton and Leon Weber both clinched Winmau Development Tour titles as Events Six and Seven took place in Milton Keynes on Friday.
The pair clinched their first titles of the year on a marathon day of action at Arena MK, where 390 players aged 16-24 battled it out for the £3,000 top prize in each event.
With the games coming thick and fast throughout the day, Beau Greaves also stole the headlines by hitting the perfect leg against Charlie Manby in a superb performance on Friday evening.
The 22-year-old trailblazer made history by becoming the first woman to hit a nine-darter on the PDC ProTour back in February, and continued to impress with some superb performances throughout both events.
Earlier in the day, it was Beeton who starred by showing resilience in the Event Six final against Nathan Potter, reeling off four straight legs to win his first Development Tour title in a dramatic deciding leg.
The 23-year-old began the day with consecutive whitewash victories over Bobby Vickors and Joshua Adriaanse, averaging just shy of 97 against the latter.
Beeton then powered on by picking up victories over Dillon Moran and Barna Krekacs, before later averaging an impressive 101.90 against Cody Crabtree to confirm his spot in the last 16.
Against Jack Drayton, Beeton was pushed in a match that served the full seven legs – eventually getting over the line by producing back-to-back 13-darters to seal victory.
The Englishman then ran out a 5-4 winner against Jamai van den Herik in the quarter-finals, before rattling off five straight legs to beat Archie Self 5-3 and confirm his spot in the final.
Despite trailing 4-1 against Potter – who won a maiden Challenge Tour event last month in Leicester – it was Beeton who finished stronger to win his first PDC title.
Elsewhere, both Ryan Branley and Dominik Gruellich reached the quarter-finals of Event Six, whilst Drayton produced the performance of the afternoon with his 104.79 average against Charlie Stocks in the last 32.
Later that evening, Weber defeated compatriot Gruellich to win his first Development Tour title of 2026.
In similar fashion to Beeton, the German also sealed victory by rattling off four consecutive legs – winning the contest 5-2.
Weber kicked things off with routine victories over Flynn Fitzgibbon and Charlie Box, before later raising his game to beat Mason Whitlock with a respectable 95 average.
The 23-year-old then went on to beat Connor Hopkins, JJ Wright and Iuean Halsall to reach the semi-finals – where he whitewashed Dutchman Angelo Balsamo.
Weber then marked an end to action-packed day of darts in Milton Keynes by defeating Gruellich in the final of Event Seven, with his best legs won in 12, 13 and 14 darts.
Manby was the player with the highest average of the day, which finished at 109.31 in his 4-1 victory over Zac Prince in the last 32.
Although the 20-year-old carried momentum into his blockbuster last 16 clash with Greaves, he ended up on the wrong side of a 4-1 defeat – with the Doncaster star hitting a statement nine-darter in the process.
Despite crashing out early in both events, Jurjen van der Velde still remains at the top of the Development Tour rankings, with Drayton, Beeton and Manby completing the top four.
The top two players from the 2026 Development Tour rankings will each win a PDC Tour Card for 2027-28, while the top three ranked players will earn a place in the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
The 2026 Winmau Development Tour season continues with Events 8-9 on Saturday, as 390 players prepare to compete in another double-header at Arena MK.
