Tim Pusey produced a dominant weekend on the Australian Darts Association Tour, winning three of the four events on offer in Melton from June 26-28.
Events 13-16 took place across the fourth weekend of ADA Tour action in 2026, with a rampant Pusey winning Events 13, 14 and 16.
The 33-year-old celebrated his first title of the year at Event 13 on Friday, trumping Raymond Smith 6-4 in the final.
Pusey followed a whitewash win over Shane Bulger with victories over David Boyle, Brandon Charlton and Josh Kime to reach the semi-finals.
There, he faced Joe Comito, surviving two match darts in a last-leg decider before creeping through to the final against Smith, where he won 6-4 to claim his maiden title of 2026 on the circuit.
Pusey backed up his success with victory in Event 14 to claim consecutive titles, after defeating Stuart Coburn 6-5 in a tight finale.
After scooping a trio of hard-fought wins, the ANZ Premier League semi-finalist once again took on and defeated Comito, this time by a more comfortable margin of 6-2.
Another 6-2 win over Jamie Rundle followed, before Pusey pipped Coburn in a last-leg decider to win his second consecutive title, coming back from 5-4 down thanks to back-to-back 14 darters.
Although Smith bowed out to Coburn in the semi-finals, the ADA Tour leader produced the highest average of the weekend in his last 16 win over Matt Dorotich, averaging 103.39.
Pusey’s magnificent weekend closed out with Event 16 success on Sunday, winning the set-play tournament after once again downing Comito in the final.
Following routine wins over Michael Casser and Jamie Hales, Pusey produced his best perofrmance of the weekend with a 96.74 average in thrashing Puna Ben 2-0, before reaching the semi-finals by defeating Dorotich.
Pusey toppled Mal Cuming in the last four – after Cuming averaged north of a ton in his last 16 triumph over Stephen Schmit – before conceding just two legs breezing past his old foe Comito in the final to cap off a fantastic weekend and claim his third title.
Despite facing three defeats to Pusey, Comito still made it a weekend to remember by claiming his maiden ADA Tour title in Event 15.
The World Championship star conceded just five legs in winning his opening three matches, before facing Pusey in the quarter-finals, where he thrashed his opponent 6-1.
Comito then beat Cuming 6-3 to reach the final, where he defeated Howard Jones 6-2 with a stellar 98.52 average to claim Event 15 glory.
Also in Event 15, Coburn produced a magical nine-darter against Kime in their last 32 clash, although he would go on to lose the contest in a last-leg decider.
Coburn – who reached the Event 14 final earlier on Saturday – produced the perfect leg in traditional fashion to level the match at 4-4.
Although Smith failed to win an event last weekend, he reached the quarter-finals or better in all four events, thereby creating breathing room at the top of the standings.
Smith now holds a buffer of over $1000 over his main rival Brody Klinge in second, with Pusey shooting up to third after a massive weekend on the oche.
Moreover, the top five players on the ADA Tour ranking have scored their place at the 2026 Australian Darts Masters, with Smith, Klinge, Pusey, Comito and Darren Penhall all securing their places at the World Series event Wollongong.
The five Australian stars will feature alongside Simon Whitlock and Adam Leek, with the top-performing DartPlayers New Zealand player joining them to complete the field.
For the 2026 New Zealand Darts Masters, Smith also secured his spot as the top-performing player on the ADA Tour, with the final spots to be decided following this weekend’s DPNZ action.
The winner of the ADA Tour after the 24th and final event will earn a spot at Alexandra Palace at the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
The 2026 Australian Darts Association Tour will return from August 7-9, as Events 17-20 take place in Kingswood.
