Brody Klinge was at his imperious best when defeating Qld’s James Bailey 6-nil in the opening Tournament of the ADA 2026 calendar here at the Silver Sands Tavern, Mandurah WA.
Bailey was in every leg yet his opponent won the pivotal and clutch moments in a thrilling Final on a day it wasnt meant to be for the Bull.
Klinge simply recaptured the 2025 form that took him to last year’s World Series of Darts (Wollongong) and the inaugural ANZ Premier League.
Bailey had chances, some slight, but the constant power scoring and combiation finishing proved too much after both came through a bumper 128 entrant field.
If it’s a portent of what is in store for the remaining 3 tournaments of this opening weekend, Darts in Australia is in a very healthy state with the promise of much more to come in the remaining 5 weekends to follow.
