Brody Klinge and Raymond Smith maintained their dominant start to the Australian Darts Association Tour last weekend, with Klinge picking up two titles across Events 5-8.

The second weekend of 2026 Australian Darts Association Tour action took place in Belconnen, Canberra, with Klinge taking Events Five and Eight to hold top spot on the Tour rankings.

In the opening event of the weekend, the 33-year-old accounted for World Championship star Joe Comito and Jeremy Fagg before downing Darren Penhall 6-2 in the final, which included a near-94 average.

The Melbourne-based arrowsmith also closed the weekend in style, winning the set-play Event Eight after four consecutive 2-1 victories over Stuart Coburn, Harley Kemp, Fagg and finally Smith in a tense battle to finish the weekend top of the rankings.

Smith – the 2025 ANZ Premier League runner-up – made the final of three of the four events at the weekend, scooping the Event Six title after seeing past James Bailey 6-4 in the final.

The 46-year-old sits firmly in second in the rankings and only $100 behind Klinge at the summit, and was unfortunate to fall short in the final of Event Seven, averaging over 98 in defeat to Penhall.

Penhall – who featured at the 2023/24 World Championship – averaged 93.60 in bettering Smith 6-3 in the final to claim his first ADA Tour title of 2026.

Originally born in Cornwall, Penhall conceded just seven legs in his five matches before the final, including a ton-plus average in his 6-2 quarter-final triumph over Tim Pusey.

The 53-year-old sits in third as a result of his victory, with Event Six runner-up Bailey in fourth and Event Seven semi-finalist Michael Bajowksi in fifth.

The 2026 Australian Darts Association Tour continues in two months, as Events 9-12 take place in Sandgate on the weekend of May 16-17.
