Beau Greaves’ dominance on the PDC Women’s Series circuit continued on Sunday, as she picked up back-to-back titles to close out the weekend’s proceedings in Wigan.
Despite Greaves’ astonishing sequence of 114 consecutive wins on the PDC Women’s Series circuit coming to an end on Saturday after defeat to Fallon Sherrock, normal service was resumed on Sunday, as she managed to pick up both titles at the Robin Park Leisure Centre.
The 22-year-old kicked off Sunday’s action with a whitewash victory over Chris Savvery, before dropping just two legs in three games, with wins over Courtney Hine, Noa-Lynn van Leuven and Kyana Frauenfelder respectively.
Greaves’ dominance continued into the quarter-final stage, beating Steph Clarke 5-1, before she put in the performance of the afternoon with a 5-0 victory over Jo Locke, averaging upwards of 100, with winning legs of 14, 15, 16, 14 and 16 darts.
The Doncaster-born star then looked to avenge her loss to Sherrock on Saturday afternoon, as the pair met in the Event Seven showpiece.
Greaves took an early lead in the contest, winning back-to-back legs in 13 and 15 darts respectively, before Sherrock enjoyed a strong spell of her own to lead 3-2.
It was Greaves who would close out the final in style, winning three out of the last four to clinch glory in Wigan, pinning a 15-dart leg to win a thrilling last-leg decider.
Greaves continued her rampage into Event Eight, as she opened her account with an average over 98 in a whitewash victory against Carly Chenery, before beating Lorraine Hyde by the same scoreline in round two.
A 99 average shortly followed in a 4-1 demolition of Jade Gofford, before beating Kim Holden and Deta Hedman to advance to another semi-final.
Laura Turner failed to win a leg in their semi-final clash, as the 22-year-old beat the former Women’s World Matchplay quarter-finalist 5-0.
Greaves then rounded off the weekend with another title, as she ran out a 5-1 victor against Welsh star Rhian O’Sullivan, pinning two 180s in the final leg of the match, and sealing the victory with an excellent 11-darter.
Winning three out of the four titles up for grabs this weekend, Greaves extended her staggering lead at the top of the Women’s Series rankings, pushing herself £10,150 ahead of the 2025 Women’s World Matchplay winner Lisa Ashton.
Sherrock has cemented her place in third following two runs to the final over the course of the weekend, with Gemma Hayter and O’Sullivan completing the top five.
The top three players from the final PDC Women’s Series rankings will qualify to compete in the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, with the top-ranked player also qualifying for the 2026 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts.
The top eight players on the Women’s Series rankings following Event 16 will also qualify for the 2026 Betfred Women’s World Matchplay, which will take place in Blackpool on July 26.
The 2026 Women’s Series season will continue with Events 9-12 at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena on May 16-17, with coverage set to be broadcast live on PDCTV.
