Sebastian Bialecki completed a sensational Winmau Development Tour double on Friday, winning 17 consecutive games to cap off a flawless day in Milton Keynes.
The year’s third weekend of Development Tour action began with a bumper double-header at Arena MK, as over 330 players battled it out for the £3,000 top prize in Events 11-12.
Bialecki also prevailed in Event Ten back in April, and his latest exploits in Milton Keynes extended his staggering winning run on the Development Tour to 26 matches.
The 22-year-old breezed to the Event 11 crown following a string of superb displays, averaging 98.47 across eight matches to extend his lead at the Development Tour summit.
Following his opening round whitewash of Lewis Sale-Thorn, Bialecki edged past Ciaran Forde in a decider before dumping out 2024 World Youth Championship finalist Jurjen van der Velde.
The Polish number two continued his title tilt with successive 4-0 wins against Joseph Simpson and Jack Drayton, which he backed up with a 5-2 success against Cam Crabtree in the quarter-finals.
Bialecki then produced a staggering 108.91 average in his semi-final demolition of Jamai van den Herik, which set up a decisive clash against Czechia’s David Fidler for the coveted title.
Fidler defeated Players Championship 20 semi-finalist Henry Coates during his run to the Event 11 showpiece, only for Bialecki to run out an emphatic 5-1 winner, courtesy of a 99.53 average.
Bialecki continued his infallible form in Event 12, conceding just two legs in sweeping aside Joey Spitse, Connor Hopkins and Jak Ord respectively.
The former UK Open quarter-finalist also convincingly overcame Ridley Ladigus, Asa Cansdale and Daan Beernink, registering his fifth ton-plus average of the day to book his spot in the last eight.
There, Bialecki demolished Germany’s Merlin Nicolaus in five straight legs, before claiming the scalps of Adam Gawlas and Crabtree to celebrate his fifth Development Tour title of 2026.
Crabtree – who claimed top spot on last year’s Development Tour rankings – dumped out Tyler Thorpe, Van der Velde and Ben Townley en route to pocketing the £1,000 runner-up prize.
17-year-old Townley produced averages of 111.33 and 107.78 during his run to the last four, underlining his credentials as one of the sport’s most promising young stars.
However, Bialecki remains in pole position on the Development Tour rankings, boasting a £7,000 lead over his closest challenger Jack Drayton.
Van der Velde occupies third spot ahead of James Beeton, with German duo Dominik Gruellich and Leon Weber completing the top six.
This weekend’s Winmau Development Tour action continues with another double-header on Saturday, as Events 13-14 take place at Arena MK.
The top two players from the 2026 Development Tour rankings will each win a PDC Tour Card for 2027-28, while the top three ranked players will earn a place in the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
