Mitchell Lawrie extended his astonishing winning run on the JDC Advanced Tour to 36 matches with a clean sweep of titles in Bristol last weekend.
The Scottish superstar continued his domination of the JDC Advanced Tour with four consecutive victories in Events 17-20, taking his 2026 tally to a remarkable 12 titles.
Having claimed back-to-back wins in Events 15-16 last month, Lawrie continued his sparkling form with Event 17 success, defying a 101 average from Lewis Cook to triumph in a high-quality final.
This was preceded by a 5-1 thumping of Kaya Baysal in the semi-finals – a repeat of last year’s JDC Junior World Championship final – while he fought back from 3-2 down to edge past Jayden Walker in the quarter-finals.
Lawrie then produced a brace of ton-plus averages en route to Event 18 glory, kicking off his campaign with a 103.66 average in a four-leg whitewash of Mongolia’s Tergal Khurelkhuu.
The 15-year-old also averaged north of 100 in his quarter-final victory over Archie Self, before backing up a whitewash win against Ben Townley by dispatching Walker 6-2 in the Event 18 showpiece.
Lawrie maintained his Advanced Tour monopoly on Sunday, relinquishing just five legs in six matches to storm to the Event 19 crown.
Following emphatic wins over Belgian trio Vince Kenis, Aaron De Ridder and Jason Goossens, Lawrie swept aside Addison Hefferon and Cook to set up an all-Scottish showdown against Owen Bryceland.
The teenage phenom seized the early initiative with a superb 127 checkout to establish a 3-1 buffer, before firing in legs of 14 and 13 darts in the closing stages to cap off a comprehensive 6-2 victory.
Lawrie later secured his sixth consecutive Advanced Tour title in Event 20, sweeping aside Cook 6-2 to round off a perfect darting weekend in Bristol.
The Scot produced a string of consistent displays throughout the event, averaging over 91 in five of his six matches, including a 98.04 in his semi-final thrashing of Self.
Lawrie now boasts a staggering 28-point lead at the top of the 2026 JDC Advanced Tour rankings, with just one point separating Cook and Baysal in second and third respectively.
Walker occupies fourth spot, one point ahead of Jack Johnson in fifth, while Bryceland remains in sixth courtesy of his run to Sunday’s Event 19 decider.
