Adam Sevada extended his lead at the top of the 2026 Championship Darts Corporation rankings after winning Event 10, as Gary Mawson and Fred Krueger also picked up victories last weekend in Illinois.
Events 8-10 took place from August 29-30 during the fourth weekend of CDC Tour action, with Sevada continuing his dominance on the circuit.
The North American Darts Champion saw off Leonard Gates 5-3 in the set-play Event 10 showpiece after a dominant campaign, averaging over 88 in all six of his matches.
The 41-year-old picked up four consecutive whitewash wins to reach the semi-finals, where he dispatched Kevin Luke 4-1 to breeze into the final.
There, Sevada took down second-ranked Gates to claim his 12th CDC Tour title and fourth of the year.
In Event Eight, Mawson claimed his first CDC Tour title in over two years, downing Sevada 7-3 in the final.
The former UK Open runner-up defeated 66-year-old Dan Lauby to kick off his campaign, before seeing off Drew Anusky and Joey Lynaugh.
The 63-year-old then defeated Krueger 6-3 in the quarter-finals, before coming back from 6-5 down against Canada’s David Cameron to win 7-6 and squeeze into the final, where he got the better of Sevada to win the title.
Krueger scooped a second title in the space of three events after winning Event Nine, defeating former CDC Continental Cup winner Alex Spellman 7-4 in the final.
After 5-2 victories over Joey Lynaugh and Ronald Sargent, Krueger enacted revenge over Mawson with a 6-2 win in the last 16.
Krueger then survived a scare in the quarter-finals, pipping Ram Guevara Jr. in a last-leg shootout, which was followed with a 7-3 win over Jason Roker in the last four before defeating Spellman to continue his strong form on the circuit.
With six events to go, Sevada has a healthy lead at the top of the rankings, while the World Cup star has already qualified for the 2026 Paddy Power World Darts Championship after winning the North American Darts Championship in June.
Gates sits in second with just a one-point lead over Krueger following his successful weekend, with the top-ranked American secured a spot at Alexandra Palace in December.
Cameron – who won the Cross-Border Darts Challenge in April and is therefore qualified for the World Darts Championship – is fourth in the rankings, with fellow Canadian Brayden Hall in sixth and in a strong position to qualify for Alexandra Palace as the top-ranked Canadian.
