Ben Robb became the latest International Qualifier to confirm his place at the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
Robb will make his sixth appearance at Alexandra Palace later this year, after securing top spot on the 2026 Dart Players New Zealand rankings.
The 37-year-old won five of the year’s 12 events, and despite Haupai Puha claiming back-to-back titles on the final weekend of action in Auckland, it wasn’t enough to overhaul his former World Cup partner.
Robb is the fifth International Qualifier to secure their spot at the 2026/27 World Darts Championship, which will see a star-studded 128-player field competing for the Sid Waddell Trophy and an incredible £1m top prize.
Canadian veteran David Cameron clinched his qualification earlier this year by virtue of winning the CDC Cross-Border Challenge, while US star Adam Sevada will make his return to the capital following his triumph in June’s North American Championship.
Argentinian trailblazer Jesus Salate will also feature after claiming top spot on the CDLC rankings for a second straight year, before Australia’s Mal Cuming earned his place courtesy of his success in August’s inaugural Trans-Tasman Championship.
Further International Qualifiers will be confirmed over the coming weeks, with the Australian Darts Association Tour season drawing to a close in Adelaide this coming weekend with the final four events from September 11-13.
The 2026 PDC Asian Tour also reaches its climax in China this weekend, where the top five players from the Asian Tour rankings will book their spots at Alexandra Palace alongside both PDC Asian Championship finalists.
Entries for further International Qualifiers ahead of the 2026/27 World Darts Championship are now open, including the UK & Ireland Tour Card Holder & Associate Member Qualifier on Monday September 28.
The Netherlands & Belgium Qualifier will be held on Saturday November 14, with the South-East Europe Qualifier taking place a fortnight later on Saturday November 28.
The Mediterranean Qualifier will take place from November 6-8, while the Czechia Qualifier is set to be held in Prague on Sunday November 29.
