The Machineseeker Group has extended its title sponsorship of the European Championship to 2027, continuing its support of one of the PDC’s biggest events in mainland Europe.
The partnership began in 2023 and will enter its fifth year in 2027, when the Machineseeker European Championship expands to feature 48 players across six days at Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle.
The expanded tournament will offer £1 million in prize money, up from the £750,000 available at this year’s event.
The 2026 Machineseeker European Championship takes place from October 22–25, featuring the top 32 players on the European Tour Rankings.
The tournament attracted a record 33,000 ticket sales in 2025, underlining the continued growth of darts in Germany.
Adam Perfect said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with the Machineseeker Group, whose support has been an important part of the European Championship’s continued success.
“With the tournament expanding in 2027, this is an exciting time to build on that relationship. We look forward to working together to deliver another fantastic event for players and fans in Dortmund.”
Sven Schmidt, Co-CEO of the Machineseeker Group, said: “The Machineseeker European Championship is a flagship event. Millions of viewers watch it on television, while tens of thousands attend in person in Dortmund.
“From 2027, the tournament will expand to six days. For us, that means even more airtime in countries that matter to our business.”
The Machineseeker Group’s involvement in darts dates back to 2018, when its German platform Maschinensucher launched a television advert featuring Michael van Gerwen during the World Darts Championship.
The company subsequently sponsored the three-time World Champion’s shirt from 2019–2021.
The group operates online marketplaces for machinery and commercial vehicles, including Maschinensucher, Machineseeker and TruckScout24, with its platforms available in more than 60 languages.
