Brody Klinge underlined his dominance at the ADA Tournament #6 when defeating Robbie King 6-3, despite the latter checking out 135.
The opening legs were all against throw until Klinge opened up a 3-1 lead before King slowed down last night’s winner with a peg of his own.
It proved a false dawn for the affable Queenslander who eventually succumbed to the relentless onslaught from his Victorian counterpart.
The win leaves Klinge at 50% of repeating the exploits of Raymond Smith, who blasted his way to all four Tournament wins held at Pine Rivers Darts and Sporting Club.
Whether the trend will be followed remains to be seen, but the answer will arrive shortly as ADA Tournament #7 gets underway here at the home of the NDDA, Elizabeth North, Adelaide.
